Topic: SNAPSHOTS - Control Room Only

Hallo

I have the ARC USB controller that is set up mainly as a dedicated monitor controller via presets.

In this use case, I switch between presets to set monitors and headphones at calibrated reference levels plus dimming, mute and mono.

HOWEVER, when I switch presets, ALL other mixer settings are also changed. So if something was re-routed during a session but I only want to switch the monitoring level, it clears EVERYTHING else.

How is it possible to make presets only affect the Control Room section of Total Mix?

Re: SNAPSHOTS - Control Room Only

May you set a DIM value for the main-out.
DIM and RECALL on the main-out gives you two monitor levels to switch between.
A snapshot is like a photo of a moment including the complete Totalmix situation.
Switching snapshot of course changes everything from one to the other shot.
You will get it soon, don't give up.

Yes, correct smile

I use DIM for switching between maximum calibrated volume and quiet version on the main output, however this doesn't change the headphone output (and sub output) along with it proportionally to the master.

It seems simple, but I haven't worked out how to effectively set up the Control Room and ARC USB as dedicated monitor control switch...

Re: SNAPSHOTS - Control Room Only

Then you may have to create a fader group in Totalmix including main-out + headphone + sub
