Topic: Input Faders Inoperable

I have a Fire Face 400. Mac Mini OS X
I have an Alessis Masterlink with the SPDIF output plugged into the FF400.
In Total MIX my input faders are at zero and I cannot move them. I do see the masterlink/spdif  level showing signal getting in but I can’t move the fader.

I would try a Total Reset in Totalmix.
Menu Options / Reset Options / Total Reset.

M1-Sonoma, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

There is a lock feature in Preferences which might be active.

The lock in preferences is not active…blank.
I can hear the SPDIF input (Masterlink) when I click on Ext Input on the main fader.
Still the hardware input faders are locked at zero?

Are only the inputs fixed? You can move Playback and Hardware Output faders?

Type in something, lock it, unlock it. Maybe it is stuck due to some corrupted entry not visible.
