Topic: Babyface + 2 Sets of Monitors + Headphones

Hello everyone!

Can you recommend effective methods to set 2 pairs of monitors and a pair of headphones with Babyface?

I have a very bad experience with budget monitor controllers, so I would like to avoid those. My budget is only a few hundred.
Should I get a headphone DAC or Ada8200? I don't really need a preamp at all.

I'm very curious about how an experienced engineer would do in my situation.
I would appreciate your advice.

I would get my old dat recorder from storage and connect the phones to that with optical to the BF. So that is the clue, get the cheapest DA or DAC and headphones amp that is still good enough. If you get a cheapish headphones dac with optical in, you are set.

Edit, even a hifi amp with optical in would of course work..
