Topic: No Web Remote Interface through AVB

Hi All,

Just switching to use an AVB Tool with a Digiface AVB and once over the initial set up hurdles all worked ok. Both units updated to the latest firmware and running in to a  USB3 socket on the motherboard.

However after a reboot, I'm unable to access the network configuration tool, it did work before the reboot (once) but now there's nothing I can do to access the web view - all audio, totalmix fx etc are still functioning correctly.

I've tried using the IP address and the device name but with no effect.

Also tried disabling the firewall.

The HTTP Remote is switched on.

The system is windows 10 64 bit, and I've tried Chrome (Version 96.0.4664.110 (64-bit)) and Edge 96.0.1054.62.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi,

by "network configuration tool" you are referring to the AVB Tool web interface correct?

Does the RME AVB Controller work as expected? i.e. does it show both the Digiface and AVB Tool as entities, are you able to connect AVB streams? If you press the button with the name of the AVB tool (see screenshot below), do the front leds light up?

If this is all yes, your "Layer 2" is fine and we have to start digging one layer up.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for your reply, below is an image of remote access I was being blocked from accessing.

However I managed to fix this by telling windows to do a diagnostic when failing to connect, it then reset the network connection and I can now access the web app.
