Topic: ADI-2 Pro FS Firmware Update Issues (v2.12, 12/2021)

Hi,

I am facing a problem with my ADI-2 Pro FS after the updating with the RME Flash update tools (v2.12, 12/2021).

My ADI-2 Pro FS recognised as ADI-2 DAC after the update and it is not working at all.
The firmware v.47 installed in the device which v.47 belong to ADI-2 DAC.
The mac recognised the ADI-2 Pro FS as ADI-2 DAC too.

I tried to download and use the previous version of Flash update tools but it won't get any help.

Is there anyone also have this problem?

I found this by MC, Try to reset the unit: hold encoder 1 and the VOL button pushed while turning on the unit. See if it is then found by USB.
I am not from RME and have no ADI2 (but other rme gear)

Use the latest FUT, start it, tell us what is the Fallback version shown there.

However, the firmware version is still keeping the same.

The current revision of the Fallback USB is 26.

Then you need to send in the unit. There is something fundamentally wrong. This fallback version is from the DAC and is NOT programmed by the Firmware Update Tool. With a Pro version (> 110) we would have been able to flash back to Pro with a trick - but with 26 (DAC) that is impossible.
