Topic: 2x HDSPe MADI FX x570 Motherboard question

I am looking into building a new DAW machine and have the following conundrum:
My rig currently contains 2x HDSPe MADI FX but most modern X570 Motherboards have 3 PCIe slots only. The slots are spaced far enough apart so the daughter card of the MADI FX can be installed in the case.

However, at the bottom the daughter cards have a dummy PCIe connector made of non-conductive material. Does anyone know whether it will be possible to install the daughter cards anyway or should I be looking into buying an older model motherboard with more PCIe slots (in order to be able to install the cards correctly)?

That extension is ony for stabilizing the card in its place. One could slide it into any slot, or even remove that extension (saw)...

Just interested, what are you doing with 780 channels in a single PC?
