Topic: Random noise on ADAT channel in TotalMix FX

Hello everyone,

satisfied user of RME products here.

One problem I noticed with my TotalMix is, when I play sounds on my PC, ADAT 3/4 channel starts making "T-T-T-T..." noise. My ADAT 3/4 channel is turned down, so I don't hear it, but I can see it there making the noise. It's not causing problems for my use but it's not normal, right?

I'm using my Babyface Pro FS just for Cubase/Chrome playback on my speakers and headphones. One midi keyboard is connected to midi port. My PC is Ryzen 9 3900 running Windows 10 Pro.

Any thoughts would be great!

Is this the input or output channel adat 3/4 ?

That shows in "Software playback" part of the TotalMix.

I played with the settings, rebooted my pc a couple of times and it's gone.

I'm now trying to find the way to make "the noise" come back but it doesn't which is good I guess. Until the next time.

Hi,

Do you know what you changed in the settings because i've got the same kind of problem with my madiface usb on madi channels 63/64.
