Topic: Fireface 400 not working bus powered with driver 3391

Hi,

I've recently updated my MBP to highSierra and so I also have to update my Fireface 400 drivers, because the old ones couldn't detect the card, even when the bus power through firewire cable was working ok.

My surprise came after installing the driver_fw_mac_3391, the bus powering stop working and now I have to use the original power supply (that I've never used in more than 15 years) to make my fireface work properly.

Has anyone experience this? Has RME any official response to this issue?

Try resetting the  SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
