Topic: Blinking red light on ADI2 DAC

Hi,

Just setting up the RME ADI 2 DAC with a THX amp and the ADI2DAC has a blinking red power light and does not turn on.  My guess is the power brick or incorrect voltage fed into the unit.

Does anybody know what should I do?

Did you accidentally plug in wrong power supply?
If you did you might of bricked it.

Did you insert the power plug all way into the DAC and then twist the plug to firmly lock it in place?

Current manual, p7:
Socket for power connection. This socket supports locking type jacks as found on the included RME DC power supply. After inserting the connector carefully turn it by 90° so that it locks. If the unit turns off easily when moved then the connector is NOT fully inserted into the socket!

i have the same problem before and i have my adi fixed by some repaie man instead of sending back to the factory for a repaire.

i have check with the dealer, they say they will send back factory for checking and then tell me how much will repaire will be.

so check with your dealer before the warranty expires.
