Topic: Babyface Pro FS USB connection break and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error

Hi Everyone,

When when I gently move the usb port I often observe connection break and sometimes PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error.
I didn't notice this in Steinberg interface, which I've used before.

Is it appropriate situation?

Have you plugged the cable in fully? On the bfp fs you really have to push it in deep and there does seem a point where it feels fully in but it is not.

Yes - whole plug is pressed into the socket.

That isn’t normal. On mine there is no movement at all on the cable going into the bfp. I tried the usb C cable first but found it came out of the computer easy so I used the usb A cable as the larger plug stays in much better and not susceptible to knocks. I take it you mean moving the socket on the bfp and you have the angle cable that came with it? If that’s so then it sounds like a faulty socket.

I mean socket not in BFP but in laptop.
I observe this on 2 laptop devices:
- Lenovo Y510p (more frequent)
- DELL Latitude 5410 (less frequent)

Surely that is to do with the laptop interface then. Are you using usb c or a?
