Topic: What midi controllers are compatible with the UCX "REMOTE" midi port?

On the back of the UCX there's a midi port called REMOTE. The old remote (https://archiv.rme-audio.de/en/products … remote.php) used to be able to plug in there.

Can other midi controllers be plugged in there?


What I'd like is some very accessible controls for the UCX while it's in standalone mode. I respect that RME has good reason to be proud of the ability to control everything from a single rotary dial, but I want something that people can use without being given a lesson (that I myself would not be able to give).  So please, do not reply "there is no need" as I have seem RME support reply to other users.

Examples are the Mackie Control, Tascam US-2400 or Behringer BCF 2000.

Thanks heaps, especially for where I should have been looking in the manual.

If anyone just wants to name pieces of gear they've bought that have worked well, I'd like to hear it, as I'm finding it really hard to find anything.

The port Remote does ONLY work with the original ARC. There is no MIDI in there.
