Hello all,

SPECS

IMAC end 2013, catalina (10.15)
3,4 GhzHz
RAM 32GO
HDD 1To

EXTERNAL SOUNDCARD
RME FIREFACE 400 (Thunderbolt Apple >FIREWIRE 400 adapter)


FRACTAL AXE FXII XL+


My issue is the following.
I can't record an audio track on cubase pro 11.
I specify that my sound card is well recognized on the software and that my sound comes out of the monitoring speakers but when recording, nothing happens. Is it a problem with my sound card drivers?
Please help me by thanking you in advance. Do not hesitate if you want more information.

Did this ever work or is this a new setup ?
Do you want to record the AXE FX or why do you mention it ?

From which HW input of your FF400 do you want to record something in Cubase and which device is connected to it ?

Is audio visible in TM FX in the top row HW inputs ?

It's a new setup. I mentioned it because I use fractal axe fx2 xl+ as a simulator amp.
I want to record on instr/line 3 of my ff400.

I use my imac, FF400 and my fractal.

As you can see in TM FX you get an input signal on HW input AN3.

You know that you have to do something in Cubase ?! Select proper audio driver and in audio connections (F4)
you need to add a mono bus and set it to the proper device port Analog 3 ...

Then in the track (where you record) you need to select this bus for your input routing ...
