Topic: Fireface UCXii Windows driver installation wizard won't open

Updated to the UCXii from a Fireface 400.  I did not delete drivers/total mix installed for the FF400.  Disconnected the FF400 from the Dell XPS PC running Windows 10 with the latest updates.  Downloaded the latest UCXii usb driver zip file, extracted the files and tried to open the rmeinstaller.exe file.  A window briefly opens and closes - nothing more.   I have not been able to install the new driver and can't figure out what is preventing the installation. I followed the steps in the manual.  Spent hours on this today.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

I was able to install the driver on a windows 8.1 laptop.  Is there a way to to copy over the installation files from the laptop to the windows 10 PC?  I didn't have a driver installation problem for the FF400 on windows 10.  I can't find anything obvious in the security settings that is preventing the installation wizard from opening.

rmeinstaller.exe -manual
will put all files extracted into C:\RME Driver.
