Topic: DC Beta5 rc5 will not launch

I installed rc5 on 2 October, when it worked fine.  Now when I launch it all I get is a blank window. I have unistalled it and tried again, but no change, even after cleaning my registry with CCleaner.  When I uninstall rc5 and then install rc4 I have a working DC, and this can also be installed successfully over a non-working rc5.  But rc.5 will just not launch under any circumstances.

Help!

I found the same result with each of the three versions (I launched them one after the other, without rebooting the machine):  In each case, DC opens fine the first time, subsequently it hangs when launching and has to be killed.

Not launch bug fixed in RC 2.
