Topic: I want to power a 2.1 system with adi 2 dac pro fs with a preamp

so I have a preamp connected to the adi 2 pro dac fs. would i be able to connect 2 speakers and a sub from it. I read somewhere the adi only does 2.0 for the most part. but i think i can get 4 channels bc my preamp is a quadrophonic receiver. id be able to use 2 channels for the speaker and 2 channels for the sub with a 2 male to 1 female y cable.

what do you guys think?

Hard to give detailed suggestions without knowing the exact models of the speakers and amps involved.

You can connect both the speakers and the sub to the Main Output 1/2.
Either use your Y-cables or the XLR- and Jack-Outputs.
