Topic: LUFS instead of LU
I like to set ITU 1770 meters to absolute LUFS instead of relative LU. Is that possible?
Reason for asking. Goal is to not exeed -14 LUFS and I am unsure how to interpret the readings if they are in relative LU.

Thanks a lot. Had the feeling it works like that, but was to confused to trust what I thought.
Hello,
Did you find a way to do this?
I’d like to know how to interpret LU as LUFS, too.
Please let me know if you were able to do this.

You have to download the Youlean Loudness meter plugin.
There is a free version and a Pro version to buy.
The free version is very good and perfect for checking the LUFs and dBs.

LUFs is calculated over time, not possible to interprete from anywhere.
Just add 23 to get from LUFS (absolute) to LU (relative)
-23LUFS (add 23) equals 0 LU
-14 LUFS (add 23) equals 9 LU
