Topic: Expanding 2 digiface Setup?

Hi,

Hope you are doing well smile

I have a setup consisiting of 2 digifaces (Usb) that give me 64 channels trough ADAT.

What would be the logical approach to expanding this setup for more adat channels?

A Digiface Dante? But wont i need a converter to do adat to Madi?

Maybe the ADI648? But then i would loose the two Digifaces...

Any ideas?

A third DF USB, connected on a separate USB controller (via PCIe card, for example).

That would be ideal, but Im working on Imac and i dont think i can add Pcie card to it.

When you mention separate USB controller, I guess is not as easy as another usb port right?

Any other way I would achieve this?

Yes, although this is not a cheap solution. Using an advanced 4 port USB 3 PCIe card would allow you to use all three DF USB from that chassis.
