Topic: Connecting UFX+ & Ferrofish MX

I think I'm going to go with a Ferrofish MX to expand my UFX+.  I need more line ins than preamp inputs and the price and features are right.  I'd use the midi, ins and outs. 

Simple q: Do I just need a single optical connector? Is is the same as the adat cables?  What about a BNC?

Multimode fiber cable. OM3 or OM4 duplex cable with SC plug (no TOSLINK cable).
I would use fiber optical cables, then you have additionally galvanic isolation.

Most of the cables I see on amazon say LC to LC or LC to SC.   But there was this one.  Is this what you recommend:

The Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX will include the appropriate duplex LC-SC MADI cable in the box, this is about 2m long or so.

I just notice I forgot, that the Ferro has SFP and needs other plugs on his side, thanks Jeff :-)
