Topic: [Solved] Babyface Pro FS: No ASIO sound from 3.5mm headphone out

Hi,

I need some advice regarding TotalMix routing on Windows 11 with my BabyFace Pro FS: I cannot hear anything from the 3.5mm headphone out when using the ASIO driver.

  • ASIO driver sounds come out only from speakers, not headphone out

  • Regular audio  (e.g. watching YouTube or listening to Tidal) comes through speakers and headphones just fine

  • Example: In Ableton when I switch the driver mode to "MME/DirectX" I can hear the VSTs just fine, but when using "ASIO Fireface USB" there is no sound from the headphone out

So both headphone sockets have the same signal. Click on the 3/4 output on TotalMix and make sure you then turn up the centre slider which has what you want to listen to on.

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

This almost drove me mad but I managed to figure it out - the operational mode for TotalMix was "Digital Audio Workstation Mode", so the middle mixer row was hidden! lol

I switched the mode to "Full Mode" so now I can increase the headphone out level and hear the sound.

I must have changed the mode my self, I assume "Full Mode" is the default...?

Anyways, all is working fine now.
