Topic: Fireface 400 issue

Hi there,

I've tried to update my FF400 but it turned very wrong sad((
I'm on Macos 10.14.6 and I've download the convenient driver ... no problem at this point. But when I use the flash update for the firmware, I have this message: "Failed with error D0000000"  No sound at all, my card is useless! Have you got an idea ? anyone?

First of all you sould check your ac adaprer, it must be 8~28V 1~1,5A
Flash updating is better to produce under windows, cause flash installer work under snow leo.

Yes it was the problem... I've udpted from another mac and it works! Thank you!

I have the same unsolved problem:

FW was 1.70, wanted to upgrade to 1.71

MacBookPro 2015 MacOS 10.14.6
MacBookPro Mid 2012 MacOS 10.14.6

Update Tool went through the hole process and ended with the above mentioned error

FW fall back to 1.49

Now I can not use the system any more…..

Any Idea without using an other Mac or PC?

An HP 8740w with express card interface (Ti Chip) saved my day. With this Windows 10 Maschine FW flashes to 1.71
