Topic: Fireface UC and Ableton Live 11, midi routing

Hi, need some help. When I play an external instrument into Live I get both input and output midi signals. Resulting in a "double" signal/sound. Also Live struggles with this and there is a lot of glitch noise. Anyone have any idea if this is related to some routing in the UC?

Re: Fireface UC and Ableton Live 11, midi routing

If they are like the midi ports on other rme interfaces then there is no routing. The software does the routing.

Ok, asking because there is some midi settings in Totalmix where you can select input/output port and select "output controller" 1-4. Don't understand what this is.

Re: Fireface UC and Ableton Live 11, midi routing

I’ve just looked at the manual and the settings in TotalMix are for remote control using midi

So everything regarding midi routing is outside UC/Totalmix. Got it.
