Topic: Babyface cable too short, replace cable or get usb 3 extender?

Need to extend the included Babyface pro cable to 6ft. I was going to buy this cable.

StarTech.com 2m USB 2.0 A to Right Angle B Cable Cord - 2 m USB Printer Cable - Right Angle USB B Cable - 1x USB A (M), 1x USB B (M) (USBAB2MR) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G2I9W2G/re ā€¦ 9C9F?psc=1

The only reason Iā€™m asking is because I prefer relying on bus power and not sure if this will create any power issues.

Should I go with this or use a usb 3 extension cable?

It will most probably work either way. Personally I would use the original cable with a short USB3 extension.

Thank you very much. Do you have a particular reason for this preference?

The original cable is a very secure fit into the bfp

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

But is the extension connector to the original cable a similar secure fit? smile
