Topic: "Legacy System Extension" on M1

I've got the original Babyface that I've been using for weeks with an M1 Mac. I just got the error message below (once so far). Does this mean I don't have the right extension installed? Or is there a compatibility issue with the original Babyface?

I've already added the M1 Extension per this: https://www.rme-audio.de/rme-macos.html

This is the driver I'm using:
macOS 11/12 USB Series Driver
2021-10-09
driver_usb_mac_327.zip
USB 2/3 driver for macOS 11 and up. Version 3.27. Supports Intel and M1.

This was the error message:
Legacy System Extension
Existing software on your system loaded a system extension signed by "RME
Gmbhl" which will be incompatible with a future version of macOS. Contact the developer for support.

Re: "Legacy System Extension" on M1

it's just a warning about the future, Apple will no longer support Kernel Extensions in an upcoming version. RME is already testing the next generation driver here: https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=35155
