Topic: Midi Remote Buttons not working

I have connect a tiny MIDI controller to Total Mix FX 1.07.
Controlling the main volume with Volume CC (channel 1) MIDI messages works flawlessly.
Unfortunately, none of the described "simple" operations bound to Key on/Key off messages seems to work.
Please note the midi protocol (MIDI-OX):

000261E7   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
000261EC   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
000261F1   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
000261F8   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
000261FD   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
00026205   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
0002620C   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
00026216   5  --     B0    07    00    1  ---  CC: Volume
0004E321   5  --     90    5D    7F    1  A  6 Note On
0004E5BF   5  --     90    5D    00    1  A  6 Note Off

The Note On message / Note off message should activate the DIM function in TotalMix FX - but nothing happens.

Any idea what is going wrong?

Many thanks,
Dominik

Mackie control support in Settings is active?

Re: Midi Remote Buttons not working

Mackie control ("Protocol support") is deactivated in the setting dialog.
The Midi CC messages described in the manual to control the dedicated faders in the rows also work as expected (and probably wouldn't work if TotalMix would interpret them as Mackie messages).

Only the Note on/Note off message seem to have no effect.

Any further ideas?

Many thanks in advance...

Reading the manual: these notes are Mackie ones.

I've just done some testing, and it seems that TotalMix does not seem to take any action on the Note On message.

It looks like, based on my limited testing, that only a Note Off command is required  to trigger the event (I'm working with Snapshot-Change actions).
