Topic: UFX+ with long USB cable

Hi!
If the Mac Pro and the UFX+ are 10-12 m appart, what is the best connection? Does a conventional USB3 cable still work or is an 'active' extension cable better? I look for sensible and cost effective solution, perhaps someone has a recommendation? Thanks in advance

Conventional USB3 max 3m. Then you need an optical solution. Has been mentioned a few times in the forum, but I have no link at hand.
