Topic: RME UCX II - Headphone volume


Hi, everyone!
I bought rme ucx ii two months ago and used it with macbook pro 2018.
two days ago I switched to macbook pro 2021 m1, And i noticed something strange that I couldn't find a solution for. When I connect my headphones (audeze lcd-x) to the new 2021 MacBook, I see in Total Mix that I get -10DB less volume in my headphones than with my 2018 MacBook Pro.
I tried to delete the drivers and reinstall them I checked the headphone settings in Totalmix and its on high level, I compared all The settings in Total Mix on my old MacBook with Total Mix in the new computer,
Everything looks the same.

does anyone have any idea about this problem?

I fail to see how you can 'see' that volume change in TotalMix. Maybe a screenshot would help to explain what you mean.

the software playback input are different on both MBP, so it seems that the software you are using in the 2021 MBP is 10 dB quieter ?

it happens on any software YouTube/Spotify/Ableton etc

Did you check system volume control? That 10 dB difference is not our driver.
