Topic: Fireface UFX Display not working

As the subject says. My display has stopped displaying. Totaly black, no back light. Unit works OK but needs of course a laptop or PC to operate it. Anyone one know who can supply a replacement back-light for the display? and if so is home replacement a possibility or is it a dealer repair?

Hi All,
I have a similar problem :

I am checking out the feasibility of repairing / replacing a malfunctioning display in a UFX.
According to what was communicated to me by the person selling it, 
the UFX itself still functions ( by working through TMFX on a PC I assume ).
Anyone has run into this problem ?
Could it be the controller for the display ?
Anyone has an idea about the cost of a display ?
Could I replace the display myself or have it replaced by someone locally ( my location is South America ) ?
Since I have no access to the UFX, I don’t have any idea what the connections and the hardware look like.
Would someone be able to send me (a) good picture(s) of the interior of a UFX?
