Topic: ADAT outputs Octamic

Do the outputs on the Octamic II only reproduce the input? Can you send anything to these channels?

The block diagram on page 32 will make the signal flow clear.
The analog outputs correspond to the mic/line inputs.

This unit can't route something from a digital input to the analog outputs.
1. There is no ADAT IN and
2. AES IN port 1 is only there for clock synch purposes as an alternative to WC.

The analog signal (from Mic/Line) goes to ADC bus, from there to ADAT OUT and AES1-4 OUT.

Well, I meant if there would be a digital input like ADAT then it is more likely that there is something like D/A conversion on the device. AES IN has a different purpose.
