Topic: Fireface UC - MBPRO M1 - followed all steps - not working

Hi,

Today i tried hooking up my Fireface UC (has been in use on main pc computer for years) to my macbook pro.
Installed drivers accordingly (kernel stuff etc). Shows up as "Fireface UC Win (29000001)" and already thought this was weird.
So i uninstalled everytihing and re-installed. Same driver name. Did a flash update. Same name.

Macbook starts to hick up every few seconds, won't play audio, and totalfx and settings app will not open and will not show up in securties tab (i know you have to allow it, but it won't show up).

I have it attached to a USB-C Satechi hub. Does it need to be attached directly to be recognised correctly? Any other suggestions? I tried selecting the driver in Cubase and it made Cubase freeze up and crash :-)

Surely i am doing something wrong but i have checked every step of the way. I'm lost. Please help!

fiy: i just bought a dedicated usb-c to usb-b cable to connect it directly and it made no difference.

The unit is in PC mode. See manual page 10.
