Topic: How to get extra 5x XLR in to Babyface Pro FS (mobile solution needed)

Hey, following scenario:

I want to connect 5x XLR cables to my Babyface Pro FS (5x magnetic cello pickups – all custom made).

Currently, however, the Babyface Pro FS own 2x XLR in and 2x XLR out are already occupied.

The goal is that I can control each of the pickups individually sound (volume, EQ). Also in Ableton Live I would then like to have a separate channel for each pickup.

Is this possible? Is there perhaps a hardware option for this that I can plug into the Babyface?

Must be mobile and portable, so no 220V. DC or even better USB-C would be ideal. My setup runs entirely off powerbank(s).

Thanks!

PS:

The 5x pickups are passive, don't need 48V and could also be built with jack cables (instead of XLR). Maybe there is an external hardware solution in this case?

You will need an AD converter to connect to ADAT. Not sure there is something with DC input.

The Presonus 1824C is an 8 channel ADAT interface that can operate via 12VDC.
