Topic: Totalmix glitches - full volume

Really weird thing happened today. I turned on my UFX II as usual and noticed that the ARC USB volume dial was scaling differently. A full turn only changed the volume a few dB.

From there I pressed the snapshot button and it sent full volume on the hardware output to my Speaker B setup. Fortunately it was not connected! My main monitors (ATC) could easily send out 112 dB + to my seating position, so I am a little freaked out right now.

Could this be because of a hardware fault with the UFX II?

Related to this, it would be nice to have an option to set a maximum hardware output level.

Go to settings and check you have “do not load” set for control room settings

First thing I did! It was set to "Main Volume."

I only have two snapshots set at the moment, and switch between them frequently.
