Topic: DigiFace with 2 x AD-16X/1 x DA-16X: Optimal clocking configuration

I have 2 x AD-16X and 1 x DA-16X with my DigiFace.  All Apogee devices are set to INT (internal) for clocking and so far, it seems to be ok, but I'm considering using word clock, choosing one AD-16X as the master (INT), and setting the others as the slaves.

The DigiFace shows as "SYNC" for all input statuses, so I'm inclined not to mess with it, but I did hear a few clicks in my cans from the DA-16X where I'm monitoring live bass, guitar, keys, etc. (and a single click on a snare track for a session that was ~2 hours long), so I'm not certain I have this setup optimally, and would like to rule that out.

Wrong setup, only one device can be the clock master.

Yup, got it sorted out.

AD-16X #1 (Master, set to INT) -> WC out -> WC in -> AD-16X #2

DA-16X's clock is set to INPUT, as is the DigiFace (ADAT 1).

Clock looks happy everywhere (lock "narrow" on Apogees)
