Topic: Fireface 800 - Pcie 800 card and Legacy Drivers

Hi, hello, hope all are ok.
I have a Fireface 800 that has been working fine for some good years but i´ve allways had trouble with the PCI firewire 400 card that i used, now last weekend after i cleaned the Pc it finally died on me, i used to use it with the Legacy drivers on win 10.
After some reserch and limited by what i can buy here near, i´m thinking of buying a StarTech PEX1394B3LP - PCIe card with 2*800 and 1*400 ports with a TI - Chipset ID - Texas Instruments - XIO2213B.

My question is: is this a good card? and do i still need to install the Legacy Drivers with this 800 port PCIe card?

Thank you in advanced.

All the best

AFAIK, legacy drivers work generally better.
