Topic: RME UFX II not appearing on iMac

Hi there,

I have updated my iMac Retina 5K, Late 2014 Intel i7 to OS11.7 Big Sur

I have isntalled the latest driver driver_usb_mac_328.zip, USB 2/3 driver for macOS 11 and up. Version 3.28. Supports Intel and M1 apparently.

The driver has loaded successfuly.

The sound card is powered on. The iMac is not registering the RME. The RME is however being registed by an ADAT expansion and is functioning.

What could be the reason?

Hi,
I have no idea what could be the reason. I got a similar problem with UCX II on iMac 2016 under MacOs 11.7 - right after updating to the 3.28 driver.
For me reinstalling the older driver 3.27 solved the problem so far. Fortunately it still can be downloaded here
