Topic: Dual output signals?

I'm breaking in a new pair of balanced XLR cables from my ADI-2 DAC FS to my integrated amp. I also have the unbalanced RCA cables connected. Am I getting signals through both since both are connected? IOW if I listen to my unbalanced connection, am I still getting a signal through the XLR cables? I tried looking in the manual but couldn't find the answer. Thanks!

Yes.
Both ADI-2 outputs are fully independent and permanently active.

They even don’t know which one you’re listening to smile

Thanks guys. I thought that was likely the case. I feel like I'm taking a leap of faith in purchasing XLR cables that require breaking in but we'll see. Right now my unbalanced RCA Audioquest cables sound better but I'm hoping that changes. But, like P.T. Barnum said......(especially in the world of audio). :-)
