Topic: Babyface Pro - Only showing up in Class Compliant Mode

Hello --

Been having an issue with my Babyface Pro again recently. A couple days ago, all of a sudden it wasn't able to be detected by my MacBook (Big Sur 11.7). It's not showing up as an input/output option in both my DAW and in my Mac system preferences. However, when I switch it to CC mode it shows up.

Any idea why it suddenly isn't showing up in PC mode?

Guessing: You installed or updated other software/drivers that caused the OS to block our drivers. In that case you might have to reinstall our drivers and also do the extended allowance dance described elsewhere in this forum.

Hmm -- well, it happened rather suddenly and I don't believe I updated any software or drivers during that time -- but I will definitely give it a go.

Do you have a link to post in the forum that describes this process? Or search terms to use?
