Topic: UFX+ and balanced headphones operation

Using a UFX+ Is there a way to use outputs 9 to 12 to connect headphones in "balanced" mode?

Best way to do this is to connect a preamp or headphone amp with a dedicated balanced head phone output the Zen iFi CAN is a good amp

Re: UFX+ and balanced headphones operation

Why this, probably unnecessary, complexity? What do you hope to achieve with balanced operation? Or do your headphones need so much more output power? The UFX+ already has excellent and powerful headphone outputs, which offer two different reference-/volume levels.

For me it just gives you that option, A B, Balanced and unbalanced, especially when your headphones are coming with to different types of leads so you will have the option to use both,

Also you bring the unit very close to you, as my units are sitting across some gear and rather high up,

But depending on your setting you just may want to A B
