Topic: Workspace not Saving on Computer Shutdown

I am running Windows 10 pro 21H2 using Fireface UCXII

After shutdown of PC and then start up next day the previously loaded workspace is not remembered as a result everytime i start the PC i have to load the workspace again.

Is there a preference or something i am missing?

I remember there was an issue approx 3y ago, which has been fixed in later version of TM FX.

When shutting down the computer, the last state could not be updated quick enough when shutting down Windows.
It was only updated when quitting TM FX manually as user.

For me / for an UFX+ it is this file.
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TotalMixFX\last.FirefaceUFX+1.xml

You should perhaps check the timestamp after shutdown, whether it becomes updated on shutdown.

The next thing that I would check is in TM FX preferences (F2):
   [x] Always init DSP devices with TotalMix FX settings

Then you do not get the message box on startup anymore, whether to use the device's or TM FX settings.
Then you get the TM FX settings from PC.

Maybe this setting resolves the issue for you already, but I would check the timestamp of the file as well.
