Topic: 12-Mic Class Compliant mode (like the discontinued XTC)

Hi!

The discontinued octamic XTC had class compliant mode, and was able to record 8 channels of audio to a Mac or ipad without an interface.

It would be super cool if the 12-mic inherited this functionality, especially for doing live recordings.

Was there any reason why this did not happen?

The USB connection in the 12Mic is only for remote.

Yes but perhaps this could function could be added by firmware update?
