Topic: Will the Fireface 802 ever be available again?

Since a while the FF802 is not even listed in web shops, like Thomann and Bax-shop.

Is it gone for good, or will it ever be available again.

Get UFX II, Sander, better specs and features. You can save the config / state of the Mic Preamp Settings in TM FX, I regard this as extremely useful to easily/quickly come back to proven settings.

FF802 Availability in shops is still non existent.

And now UFXII and UFX+ are not available.


Could you give us an update on availability?

You need to look at the right shops. Thomann relies on big sales and constant delivery. At these times we can not offer such, so chances the mentioned units show up there are small - they most probably will not relist them for some more months.

I almost had a new fireface-802, last January. But the DHL delivery guy decided to keep my FF802 and loose his Job (probably).

DHL streched the investigation until Fireface-802 was unavailable again...

Another 802 is in back-order now.

So, there is my question again:

Will the Fireface-802 be available anytime soon?

Ah, thanks.

It must be available again since today, I checked Thomann yesterday, and the 802 was not even listed.


I hope, RME send some units to the Netherlands, then I may receive it before the end of the month. (fingers crossed)

I know it is a great unit.

I got my FF800 in August 2005. Never had any issues.

PSU died in januari 2023.

Maybe I'll revive it with some new caps.
