Topic: Expansion for 802 FX/Octamic II

What is the most cost effective way to gain some more I/O for my 802 FX/Octamic II setup? I’m currently looking at second hand Fireface 400’s. I have an analog desk I’d like to incorporate and I’ve run out of outputs on the 802. Obviously I need something that will work with TotalMix. Thanks.

Fireface 802, Octamic II, UAD Quad, Midas Venice 320, Cubase, Windows 10.

Cheapest : An ADA8200 will give you another 8 INs and OUTs

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

I have one of those which I use with my Babyface pro fs and it is very reasonable

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

Thanks for the reply. Do you see this device in TotalMix? Or have you configured this another way? Cheers

Thanks very much for your reply. I had guessed this behaviour,  from ADAT-only devices. I will look for something similar. In the meantime I have purchased a Saffire Pro 24, as a stop gap. I want to record a mix, played through a console. Like a 2 track
