Topic: Multiface 2 recognized as Digiface

Hi,
due to problems with the opto receiver of my Multiface 1 I purchased a used Multiface 2.
This is regocnized as a Digiface and is not working...
Any ideas?

only the standard ideas, what computer system ?
With PCI card or PCMCIA card ?
Wich driver did you install ?
Wich firmware is in the unit ?

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

My cardbus has been flashed to Revision 20 recently
My OSX driver is 4.17

Only the Cardbus Interface can be updated, right?

OSX 10.13.6  , Old Mac Pro , last System supported for the setup

Does the red LED at the MF goes off? And then it is seen as DF? In that case that used MF might also be broken and need repair (transceiver chips for the FW cable communication).

Doh! 100% human failure
I assumed that the power supply is the same with MF2 . Changed the power supply everything seams to be fine!

I am happy my 20 years MF journey goes on : )
