Topic: USB Hub for Fireface UCX

Hello, I got a digital piano which has just usb output (no midi). I use other USB devices (external SSD, monitor), so I thought of buying a usb hub or docking station so I can connect everything together like this:

  • Fireface UCX -> USB Hub

  • Dig. piano -> Usb Hub

  • SSD -> Usb Hub

  • Monitor -> USB Hub

  • USB Hub -> Mac

Is it a good idea? Wouldn't it cause any latency issues? Any specific USB hub you would recommend?

Pc or Mac? I must admit I wouldn’t be happy with all that in with my audio interface.

Might be ok on a Mac. I’ll let Mac owners answer that as I’m on a PC
