Topic: Problem with Windows Flash Update Tool version 2.47 - HDSPe AIO

Bonsoir,
I have updated the firmware of my HDSPe AIO card using Windows Flash Update Tool version 2.47.
My card has been upgraded to revision 200, but is now considered as AIO Pro.
It is therefore impossible for me to upgrade it to a previous revision: the tool proposes a revision corresponding to AIO Pro.

The sound is now louder, and some controls seem inoperative.

Please could you advise me? (Windows 10 - driver 4.39)

Hello,
same here, AIO to AIO Pro in Hammerfall DSP Settings is the SN=00000000000, Revision=200
Sound is same settings at +4dBu much louder.

JoeChip --> i have the FlashUpdateTool_2.36 and it works for change back the Firmware (Legacy) Revision=14 to HDSPe AIO with correct SN=Number and normal sound . . .

Bonsoir,
Problem solved! I recovered my HDSPe AIO card using the firmware v2.36.
I didn't expect to get a solution so quickly, especially in the new year period.
Many thanks to 6Grandpa9!

This forum is fantastic, and I wish everyone an happy New Year!

Thanks for helping out! I expect this to be a driver problem (identifying that high firmware version number as Pro) which should be solved shortly.

The flash update tool 2.47 is the problem (not fixed --> DriverKit), other Modell too, RayDAT https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=36584, I think there is a problem with HDSPe Revision 2 Series  vs  Legacy HDSPe Series Modell !
The flash update tool 2.46 has only "Improved compatibility to server motherboards" and idk where to download!
The HDSPe AIO can recover to (Legacy) Revision=14 with flash update tool 2.36 --> https://archiv.rme-audio.de/downloads.php --> I think it will work for the others Modell too !

I have no clue what makes you think it should? That driver was released before the new FUT. Upcoming driver 4.40 or so (hopefully Monday) will fix it.

Because the driver readme said that the driver is meant for the new firmware. Better to remove the new firmware download as long no compatible windows driver is available.

Many thanks. Worked fine.

Working fine now with driver 4.40 and FUT 2.48
