Topic: Virtual patchbay

Hello all,
I am setting up my UFX and a Presonus FS soon and would like to eliminate an actual patchbay.
I will have plenty of inputs and outputs with this set up to hardwire all synths, samplers, effects, loopers and guitar processors.
My question is will I be able to cascade TotalMix channels into each other?
Can I route, for example,  input 1 > output 3, output 3 > input 2 and so on.
I don’t want to use the software channels in TM as I am setting this up with the zero latency of TM as the basis of it.
Can the hardware outputs be routed back up to the hardware inputs?
Is the loop back function something that I should be researching?

And again,
Thanks in advance

No, that is not possible inside Totalmix. A DAW has to be involved.

Yes, at the interface with cables. But you should avoid this because Danger of feedback !
That's why Loopback doesn't do that. Loopback goes to the DAW, not back into Totalmix itself.

100% for sure yes ! Search the Youtube for : RME Totalmix
and read a user manual of an Interface, fireface UFX would fit.
