Topic: Fireface UC - Software ok but no sound at all

Hi guys,

This morning, after 15 years without a pbm, my fireface UC suddenly stoped working. Everything seems ok from the software side (I have signal in TotalMix) but no sound at all. When I plug a mic in, no signal in TotalMix. Protools don't let me select Fireface as an output for the tracks although it is selected as the playback engine ?!?... It only let me select my mac speakers... Also, I was recording something just before it happened , and I noticed that the mic was very low. I tried to increase the gain but it was ineffective. Then it crashed. Any idea ? I've upgraded both the drivers and the firmware.

Any help much appreciated...

First thing to check is the PSU, you should test with a different DC adapter with output around 12 Volt / 2 amp.
