Topic: Fireface UFX+ Analog-Board takes long (ca 5 Min) to start and plopps l
Hello,
my Fireface UFX+ was 24/7 on power for the last years, and worked well...
But for the energy-consuming that's not wise, so i started to switch it on only when i need it...
The Display/LEDs and the connection to the PC are there instantly, as the meters in Totalmix, but the analog side
(inputs & outputs) take about 5-10 minutes before it makes a loud "PLOPP" out of the monitors (not affected by
the level of the output-fader) and then the analog-stuff is there...
Sometimes it makes the "PLOPP" during normal operation.
As i repair electronics, i thought that it may be a switch-mode point-of load converter with caps getting old and
takes some time to start, as the main 12V-SMPS is ok and delivers also 12V to the CPU/DSP/etc.
So i opened the box, but all the power-measurements (+15/-15V at the opamps, 5V, 3.3V) on the analog board seam ok....
Is there a mute-circuit for the analog-board that may act up strangely?
many thanks for some help!
