Topic: Babyface Fireface USB Settings Sample Rate Detection

Hello,

My digital hardware (VS2480 with DIF-AT ADAT box) is sending 48khz into the optical in of the Babyface, however the Input Status at the bottom of the Babyface Settings screen incorrectly shows ADAT Sync at 96KHZ. MY DAW project is at 48KHZ. Is there a setting somewhere in Babyface that is causing this?

Go to the fireface control panel (not TotalMix) and set the sync to external (if your device has to be master) and set sample rate to 48. I don’t know of the device you mention but if it has adat in and out you can slave it the other way round and gave the bf as master. Worth reading the manual.
