Topic: Multiclient play loop as backup during live performance

Hey,

I just got a babyface pro fs? I do live technosets with Ableton and it would be awesome to play a loop on an audioplayer on my mac in case Ableton crashes so people still have a beat instead of booing me big_smile

Do you think this would be possible and if so how would i switch over? Pref with the knobs on the device itself.

The hotkeys A SET and MIX B can change snapshots.
Two snapshots have to be prepared, one for Ableton, one for the backup Loop.

But to be on the safe side, better have a backup plan outside of the computer.
Create a piece of music and play this from a USB stick on a CDJ player in loop mode during the whole gig.
Switch over to that when needed with the crossfader on the DJ-mixer.
