Topic: RME ADI-2 DAC FS Beep sound when it is on

Hi!
I have recently purchased an RME ADI-2 DAC FS and I'm pretty happy with the unit. My problem is that since I have the unit, when it is on it emits a beep sound constantly. I thought that it would be only in the beginning because it is a new unit but past a month, the sound keeps and this beep is really annoying. I thought that is my headphones but with low volume my ears continue with that "pain" from hearing very loud high pitched sounds. But this is not because hearing very loud volume but because of that beep sound. Yesterday I did shutdown the unit and using another amp and the problem in my ears is went away within minutes.
Curiously, when put some menu (like setup or i/o) the beep sound is another (less annoying).

My question is: The RME ADI-2 DAC always has this beep sound or it is a unit damaged?

Don ‘t worry, get it fixed by RME, they know about the problem.
